Born from a passion for

Kimio Osawa grew up in rural Japan and spent his early career with the Japan Agricultural Co-Operative, specialising in livestock. In 2000 he brought that expertise to Sydney — and has never looked back.

Today, Osawa Enterprises is the undisputed leader in wholesale wagyu in Australia. No other supplier offers this breadth of product, this level of provenance transparency, or this depth of knowledge.

Kimio Osawa established Osawa Enterprises in Sydney, drawing on seven years with Japan's Agricultural Co-Operative to bring authentic wagyu to Australian tables.

Trade Foothold

Built long-term partnerships with Sydney's top restaurants, five-star hotels and premium butchers. Wholesale became the heartbeat of the business.

2019
Full Import Programme

Launched a direct Japanese import line including Kobe, Kagoshima and Ozaki — giving trade clients access to product previously unavailable in Australia.

Melbourne Expansion
